PPG has recently been recognized on the “World’s Most Admired Companies” list by Fortune Magazine for the 17th year in a row, ranking #2 in the chemicals industry, retaining its spot from 2024. 

The list for 2025 included 630 companies from 30 countries in 51 industries. Over 3,380 executives, directors and securities analysts responded to the survey.

“This consistent recognition underscores the efforts of PPG employees around the world who deliver on our purpose to protect and beautify the world every day,” says Bryan Iams, PPG vice president and chief communications officer. “Inclusion on this key ranking highlights our commitment to delivering quality paints, coatings and specialty products for our customers around the world.”

PPG’s quality of products/services, global competitiveness and social responsibility are a few of the factors that earned the company its ranking on the list.
