SamaN Acquired by Private Group of Local Investors

SamaN has announced that it will be acquired by a private group of local investors, including Maxime Gagnier, who will act as president.

After more than 20 years of growth in Québec, Canada, and in the U.S., SamaN marks the beginning of a new chapter in an effort to assure the company’s future. The founder and current president, Alain St-Cyr as well as the company’s general manager, Richard Proulx, will work in close partnership with the new management team in order to ensure a seamless transition and maintain close relationships with SamaN’s stakeholders.

“As a result of the acquisition by this dynamic group, SamaN will pursue its operations in Victoriaville, maintain jobs and will continue to strive towards the company’s core mission,” St-Cyr says.

Gagnier is an industrial engineer with experience both in the hardware retail industry and manufacturing.

“The SamaN team has created a strong brand, founded on robust manufacturing operations and solid customer and supplier relationships,” Gagnier says. “It is my pleasure to build on this incredible foundation while striving to reach new heights.”
