James Hardie Expands Strategic Partnership with CBUSA to Include TimberTech Decking Solutions

James Hardie recently announced an expansion of its strategic agreement with CBUSA, the nation’s largest group purchasing organization for custom homebuilders.

The three-year deal will provide CBUSA’s network of builders with access to James Hardie products, such as TimberTech. The agreement builds upon a siding deal that has been in place since 2016. The addition of TimberTech®, a brand within the James Hardie portfolio following its acquisition of The AZEK Company, marks a significant milestone in James Hardie’s overall strategy.

“This agreement is a powerful testament to the momentum of our integrated business model and our commitment to providing the industry with a comprehensive portfolio of beautiful, durable, and sustainable exterior and outdoor living products,” says Jon Skelly, president and general manager, James Hardie Building Products Inc. “Together we are creating solutions to drive growth and delivering unmatched value to builders and homeowners alike.”

CBUSA, with members in 41 markets responsible for over 16,000 housing starts annually, represents a critical segment of the custom home building market.

James Hardie has been a valued supplier of CBUSA for many years, and we’re excited to build on that success with the addition of TimberTech,” says Brian Pavlick, president of CBUSA. “This agreement brings meaningful value to our builders, expanding their access to market‑leading composite and Advanced PVC decking solutions and strengthening the overall competitiveness of our network.”
