Coverings, an international ceramic tile and natural stone event recently held its annual meeting, hosting nearly 25,000 industry professionals. The event attracted a record-number of first-time attendees from around the world. Coverings 2024 also featured nearly 1,100 exhibitors from 40 countries. Making its return to Atlanta for the first time in six years, Coverings 2024 featured a large show floor with breakout sessions and networking events.
A significant takeaway from Coverings 2024 was the increase in young professionals attendance, making up around 24% of total attendees. Over 150 students from the Savannah College of Art and Design and multiple of Georgia’s technical colleges walked the show floor and were able to watch presentations and participate in curated tours.
“Coverings has always been a show by the community and for the community, and, as such, we are especially proud of the consistent rise in our young professionals audience,” says Jenn Heinold, president of Taffy Event Strategies, the show management company for Coverings. “Coverings has become the hub for the tile and stone industry, with more ‘next-gen’ professionals seeking Coverings as an annual destination for product sourcing, networking, learning and enhancing their respective skillsets.”
First-time attendees accounted for nearly 50% of total attendees.

Coverings 2025 is slated for April 29-May 2, 2025 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
