ALLPRO Spring Show Highlights Growth and What’s Next

Soaking up sun and big savings, ALLPRO members came together in Phoenix for the ALLPRO 2023 Spring Show March 8-11. The event took place at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge where attendees enjoyed the perks of the resort in-between visits to the show.

To kick off the show, attendees gathered for the opening reception where over 1,300 industry members reconnected with friends from the industry.

Before heading to the show floor, attendees enjoyed a breakfast where ALLPRO executive vice president Mike Beaudoin took the stage to highlight the company’s growth in 2022 and recognize members who achieved significant sales milestones, as well as showcasing upcoming shows for members to get excited to attend.

The company reported an 11% increase in sales over 2021 and Beaudoin says he is budgeting for another 5% growth in 2023. Distribution business increased as well, up 17% from the previous year, with a budgeted growth of 11% in 2023.

Beaudoin reflected on the successful ALLPRO U: Next Gen event that took place on January 23-25 in Montvale, New Jersey, hosted by ALLPRO and Benjamin Moore. The event provided attendees with educational opportunities and networking, including covering topics like energizing your team, marketing and discovering self-awareness.

Other improvements ALLPRO has successfully launched for its members in the last few months include a member portal, a soon-to-come vendor portal and improvements to ALLPRO University, including new content and a YouTube channel to provide quick access to training anyone can search for and access.

Once the show floor opened, retailers were eager to walk the aisles and discover all the great deals on products and find new products they wanted to bring into their operations. Throughout the show, attendees were able to work hard and play hard. When the show floor closed after a morning of work, many would relax by the pool or get a group together to hit the links. Most evenings, there were vendor-hosted parties, allowing retailers more chances to connect and have fun.

To wrap up the festivities, ALLPRO hosted the closing party Saturday evening, including a buffet dinner and a live musical performance by STYX.

“It was great to have everyone back at the show this year. It’s been a long few years, and so it was helpful to reflect on the lessons we learned from the last three years and look forward to what’s next,” says ALLPRO executive vice president Mike Beaudoin. “This group is battle-tested and will rise to any challenges that come our way and will be successful in any market.”
