Painter’s tape has many uses when it comes to painting—keeping paint off of trim, creating sharp paint lines and protecting other surfaces—but it can also be used beyond painting projects. Share these alternative uses for painter’s tape with your customers to encourage additional sales.
- Labels. Because it sticks to many surfaces, painter’s tape is a great option for labeling all kinds of items from jars to plastic bins to cords.
- Baby-Proofing. Place a piece of painter’s tape over outlets and other openings where little fingers could get hurt. Take a roll of tape along on vacation for baby-proofing on the go.
- Kids’ Play. Lay out lines of painter’s tape on the floor to create roads, buildings or whatever your kids’ imaginations come up with.
- Lint roller. Roll up a long piece of painter’s tape inside out and use it to pick up crumbs, lint and hair from clothing, furniture and other surfaces.
- Chip clip. Instead of a chip clip, use a piece of painter’s tape to keep your chip, cereal and other food containers closed and airtight.
