2024 NHS Events
Welcome Reception
Celebrate the show’s opening with your peers at the NHS Welcome Reception, featuring live music and drinks in the NHS Backyard on March 26 at 4 p.m.
PRO Education and Party
Carpenters, electricians, general contractors, handyworkers, HVAC technicians, landscapers, DIYers, masons, mechanics, painters, plasterers, drywall installers, plumbers and remodelers are invited to attend NHS and participate in the exclusive Pro Education Program and Pro Party on March 27.
VIP Reception at Sphere
The VIP Reception hosted at Sphere will offer an exclusive networking opportunity for industry leaders, exhibitors and VIP attendees.
Backyard Beer Garden Happy Hour
Take advantage of Happy Hour in the Backyard Beer Garden and enjoy music while networking with other industry professionals. The party starts on March 26 and March 27 at 4 p.m.
Celebrity Chef Cook-Off
The NHS Cook-Off is back in 2024, with chefs representing exhibitors in the BBQ & Grilling category competing to create their best slider and appetizer. Don’t miss this fun event on March 26 in the NHS Backyard. The chefs will begin cooking at noon and judging starts at 2 p.m.
Executive Summit
Gain insights on consumer behavior, trends, the supply chain and the state of the industry at the new NHS Executive Summit conference program, featuring host Kevin O’Connor of “This Old House.” The Executive Summit is a series of five high-impact sessions led by experts from Ernst & Young, Houzz, the Presidents Council and more on March 27 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Independent Retail Center Roundtables and Meet the Expert
Retailers can relax, network and learn at the Independent Retail Center, located on the show floor. Content and experts are made possible by the North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA).
UIA Stage Seminars and Product Pitch Panels
The United Inventors Association (UIA), the largest nonprofit inventor member organization in the U.S., will offer educational seminars and “Shark Tank” style product pitch panels—where inventors can showcase their unique products and get advice from a panel of experts—on the UIA Stage.
Foundations of Merchandising Management Live!
NHPA’s Foundations of Merchandising Management Live! event is back at 2024 NHS. The two-day event is designed to help both new and experienced retail personnel responsible for managing merchandising and operations at their stores.
Retailers’ Choice Awards
The 58th-annual Retailers’ Choice Awards hosted by NHPA on March 27 at 6 p.m. will showcase the best, most innovative products featured at NHS and selected by a panel of retailer judges.
