Dunn-Edwards recently announced its first-ever Color of the Century, Viridian Odyssey.

In honor of the company’s 100th anniversary this year, the deep, sophisticated blue-green shade was chosen after research was done to discover the top trends across the past 10 decades. 

“Since 1925, Dunn-Edwards has been dedicated to shaping the world of paint, color and design, and Viridian Odyssey has been there all along—symbolizing life, growth and resilience with an understated elegance deeply rooted in the nature surrounding us,” says Lauren Hoferkamp, lead color expert at Dunn-Edwards. “While the Color of the Century honors the past and everything that’s brought us to this point, it also symbolizes a readiness for the next 100 years.”

Dunn-Edwards also announced new decade-inspired color palettes will launch every three weeks this year to celebrate the company’s centennial.
