Claphams’s Hemp Wood Wax is a food-safe wood finish that uses hemp oil instead of mineral oil. The wax brings out the natural colors of the wood it is applied to and is suitable for salad bowls, butcher blocks, cutting boards, wooden spoons and countertops. 

Specifically for countertops and also from Clapham’s, the Beeswax Countertop Finish is ideal for stoneware, earthenware, porcelain, marble, granite and concrete countertops. The finish is made from Canadian beeswax, carnauba wax and natural mineral oil and is similar to a ceramic glaze, protecting countertops from water.

Minwax’s Wood Effects is a water-based wood effect that works with wood’s tannins to produce a naturally aged look. The product dries within 30 minutes to one hour, cleans up with water and only requires one coat for a noticeable finish.

The Satin Acrylic Sealer from Daich Coatings is a multipurpose, 25% solids formula ideal for most interior and exterior applications. The sealer has a low-sheen, providing a natural look on concrete, flagstone and brick. The sealer is low odor, water resistant and freeze, heat, UV and mildew resistant.
