Sherwin-Williams Tops J.D. Power 2025 Paint Satisfaction Study

The Sherwin-Williams Company earned first place honors in customer satisfaction with interior and exterior paint in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Paint Satisfaction Study

In interior paints, the company earned first place in ease of application, value given the price paid and level of trust. For exterior paints, Sherwin-Williams ranked first in durability, ease of application, variety of offerings and level of trust. This is the third consecutive win for Sherwin-Williams in the interior paints segment.

“We are honored to be acknowledged by the J.D. Power Paint Satisfaction Study for not only customer satisfaction with our interior paints but with our exterior paints as well,” says Brett White, senior vice president of marketing at Sherwin-Williams. “From our product innovation to our customer service and tools, we continually elevate our standards, ensuring our customers can always depend on us.”

The J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Paint Satisfaction Study examines seven key customer satisfaction criteria: durability, ease of cleaning surfaces, adequacy of coverage, ease of application, variety of offerings, value given price paid and level of trust. J.D. Power also evaluates the customer experience with the paint retailer through digital tools, people, store and facility, product and supplies, level of trust and value given price paid.
