Multiple companies that have significant stakes in the independent paint industry made the Time magazine World’s Best Companies of 2024 list, being named alongside some of the largest, most influential companies across the globe.
The list is a comprehensive analysis that takes three aspects of a company into account: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency.
Sherwin-Williams Co. ranked 262nd on the list, receiving a 89.61 overall score, ranking 425th in sustainability transparency and 193rd in employee satisfaction. The paint manufacturer was also given a high revenue growth ranking.
PPG ranked 535th on the list, with an overall score of 86.29, ranking 595th in sustainability transparency and 402nd in employee satisfaction. PPG received a high revenue growth ranking.
AkzoNobel ranked 789th on the list, with an overall score of 82.58, ranking 560th in its sustainability transparency and 378th in employee satisfaction with a moderate growth ranking.
